EDMS ... The latest development in high speed film camera technology.

The new LOCAM III  is a fully computer controlled 16mm high-speed film camera. Control functions are handled by a built-in 32-bit micro-controller with software instructions encoded in E-PROM and RAM memory. A keypad, located on the camera's rear panel, allows users to select camera speed and other setup parameters with visual confirmations status provided by a built in alphanumeric LCD display. Typical camera set-up (default) parameters are factory programmed, or users can easily enter new instructions for different camera setups.
When connected to a PC the system's bi-directional RS-422 communications port remotely controls and monitors all key camera functions.

These functions include:
START/STOP control of multiple cameras.

Numeric recording of time of day on each 16mm film frame to 0.0001  seconds time resolution as shown in the example.

Display of actual camera speed.

Display camera status while running.

Display film remaining status.

Automatic phase-lock synchronization of multiple cameras    when connected to IRIG-B serial time code.

Displays status of how each cameras performed, on post run menu.

And other functions.
